Browning Maxus II Wicked Wing Disassembly for Cleaning

 

It's important to take care of your gear so that it lasts as long as it can, and some of the more iconic brands will last a long time. We recruited Tony Rosetti, a local gun expert and former Olympic shooter, to teach us how to break down guns.

Steps:

Remove the magazine cap.

Remove the forend.

Remove the barrel.

Remove the piston gas system.

Remove the spacer and plunger.

Remove the spring.

Take out the operating handle by knocking out the pins.

Push the bolt out by pushing it with your thumb.

Steps:

Starting from the ringer, put the bolt and bolt assembly back in. Make sure that the end of the bolt assembly fits into the spring cup. 

Put the fire control back in the gun.

Compress the bolt release and then slide in the fire control.

Hammer the pins back in.

Put the spring, spacer, then plunger back in.

Put the gas support system back in.

Then put the barrel back on. 

Put the forend back on with the traditional nut and screw lock in.
