Retay Masai Mara Disassembly for Cleaning

It's important to take care of your gear so that it lasts as long as it can, and some of the more iconic brands will last a long time. We recruited Tony Rosetti, a local gun expert and former Olympic shooter, to teach us how to break down guns.

STEPS

Unscrew the magazine cap.

Take the barrel and forend off. It will slide off easily.

Take out the bolt assembly all in one piece.

Push a dedicated button in on the side of the trigger assembly and the whole piece will come out. No pins needed.

Slide the bolt assembly back on. You'll know you've got it on the return spring when it pushes back.

Slide the barrel back on. It will fit over the bolt. 

Screw the magazine cap back on. 

Take the fire control (trigger assembly) and depress the bolt release to slide it back in.
