Time Tested Camouflage
Since it's introduction in 2002, the design process used to develop New Break-Up has been instrumental in the evolution of camo for Mossy Oak. Often imitated, but never duplicated, New Break-Up innovative imaging concepts changed the way people thought about concealment in the woods.
As sticks and limbs camo evolved from traditional camo, New Break-Up was its own form of an "original" in its own right. And to this day - remains a favorite among woodsman of all ages.
New Break-Up represented a new era of camouflage, and a new era of Mossy Oak, because it paved the way with a significant breakthrough in concealment technology by incorporating ultra-realistic bark backgrounds, the sharpest renderings of limbs and leaves ever, and deeper shadows for a three-dimensional effect never before seen.
After the birth of Bottomland, several Mossy Oak patterns incorporate effective concealment with a recognizable connection to our own roots and hunting's most iconic camo pattern, Mossy Oak Bottomland. No two patterns have carried the flag in deer season and turkey season like New Break-Up in the fall and winter and Obsession in the spring. Every generation of Mossy Oak patterns has carried on the Break-Up legacy.
New Break-Up's History
New Break-Up has a rich product history. From shotguns and rifles from brands like Remington and Winchester to a wide assortment of apparel, footwear and an array of core hunting products from many key brands in the hunting world.

The Dixon Vest represents so much for so many people. A way of life, a love for your friends, a passion for the wild turkey, a life lost too soon. To say “it’s just a vest” is to miss the entire point.
The design was finished with an incorporation of new meets old—the new Mossy Oak Break-Up pattern adorned the outside of the vest while Mossy Oak’s first pattern, Bottomland, decorated the inside of the vest. It was a nod to the past, a nod to origins, and a nod to the work of those before us.
