The West Point, Mississippi based company recently hosted its annual Land Summit on June 7-8 in nearby Starkville, Mississippi, where it hosted over 250 of its land specialists for three days of fun, fellowship, and education. At the Land Summit, sixteen new Mossy Oak Properties offices were recognized, as the company rapidly approaches its 100th franchise location since beginning franchise sales in the fall of 2002.
The company’s growth in all sectors was revealed to the record crowd, as the Mossy Oak Properties network closed in excess of 2300 transactions for 2016 totaling over $550 million in sales volume. To compare, 878 transactions for a total of $270 million were closed in 2012. Currently, there are more than 3200 active listings throughout the Mossy Oak Properties network totaling over $2B in list price value.
Web traffic growth for the Mossy Oak Properties corporate website mirrored transactional growth, as the total number of hits the corporate website received exceeded 270 million for 2016, up from 136 million just two years prior. There are over 650 land specialists and support staff currently associated with Mossy Oak Properties, nearly double from four years prior.
