At Mossy Oak, the outdoors is more than a pastime. It is a way of life rooted in family, tradition, hard work, stewardship, and respect for the land. Everything we create and put our name on carries that responsibility. From the first idea to the product that ends up in the woods, on the water, around camp, or in a customer’s hands, quality matters because trust matters.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in the details, enjoys bringing order to moving parts, and understands that a brand is protected, one decision, one sample, one shipment, and one customer experience, at a time.
The Quality Control Administrator supports Mossy Oak’s Research & Development team by helping ensure products, materials, samples, packaging, and inbound flagship branded goods meet Mossy Oak’s standards before they move forward. This role blends hands-on product review, sample coordination, documentation, organization, and clear communication with internal teams and outside partners.
This is a practical, detail-driven role for someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping things organized, and helping a team make good decisions quickly. The right person will care about how a product looks, feels, functions, ships, and ultimately represents Mossy Oak to the consumer.
- Support quality control and product review processes across a wide range of Mossy Oak product categories.
- Assist with reviewing samples, finished goods, packaging, materials, and production-related submissions for quality, consistency, and brand presentation.
- Support inbound inspections of Mossy Oak flagship branded products, helping confirm that shipments, packaging, and finished goods meet expectations before release.
- Help ensure Mossy Oak products meet both consumer expectations and brand expectations for quality, appearance, consistency, and readiness for the marketplace.
- Document product feedback, quality concerns, review notes, photos, and follow-up needs in an organized and professional manner.
- Coordinate sample flow, material organization, tracking, shipping, receiving, and internal review workflows.
- Maintain organized records, reports, databases, and operational files that help the team stay aligned and accountable.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal departments, suppliers, production partners, and external stakeholders.
- Help identify opportunities to improve organization, communication, process efficiency, and repeatable quality practices.
- Assist with general R&D operations, special projects, and other department needs as they arise.
- A highly organized person with strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right.
- Someone dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of the work in front of them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn observations into clear next steps.
- A practical problem solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A team-minded person who can work independently while supporting a collaborative culture.
- Experience in quality control, product development, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field is helpful.
- Experience with consumer products, textiles, packaging, inbound receiving, warehouse operations, or branded goods is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems, tools, and documentation processes.
- Willingness to support hands-on product review, sample handling, shipment review, and other operational work as needed.
- This position works across office, product review, sample management, and warehouse-related environments.
- The role may include standing, walking, organizing samples, inspecting products, supporting shipment reviews, and handling product or material boxes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with samples, materials, and product inspection support is preferred.
At Mossy Oak, you’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about the work, the people beside us, and the customers who trust our brand. We value humility, work ethic, creativity, accountability, and people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed. If you enjoy meaningful work, take pride in the details, and want to help support products connected to the outdoor lifestyle, we would like to hear from you.
