Mossy Oak Properties Michigan

Mossy Oak Properties is pleased to announce that it has opened its first Michigan office with the opening of Mossy Oak Properties-Michigan Land & Lakes in Sturgis.

Brandon Cropsey, the owner and broker of the Southern Michigan brokerage, has been one of the top land brokers in Southern Michigan over the past five years, with twenty-plus years of experience in the real estate industry.  His decision to join the Mossy Oak Properties network centered on his brokerage becoming more well-rounded to serve the needs of his target region.

“By transitioning to Mossy Oak Properties, we will be able to not only focus on selling acreage property, but expand to work with buyers and sellers of all recreational property types, including waterfront property in Southern Michigan,” said Cropsey.  “Michigan offers some of the best fishing and recreational waterfront properties in the nation, and by joining the Mossy Oak Properties family, we will be able to expand marketing to this segment and provide the quality service and expertise required for buyers and sellers of these property types, along with continuing to serve buyers and sellers of acreage property in Southern Michigan.  By owning and managing the brokerage locally, all efforts can be customized to more effectively service clients in the specific markets being served by the company.”

Cropsey said Southern Michigan’s land market has been strong in recent years. “We have been seeing increased prices and demand the last couple years in most of the counties in our core territory.  There can be a significant difference in acreage values from county to county in my territory, and even within a single county by itself.  It is important to have a knowledgeable agent who understands the different factors affecting each property in the territory you are looking to buy or sell.  As we grow, we will be bringing on land specialists that understand these values, and can be trusted advisors for their clients.”

Chris Hawley, Co-Founder and CEO/President of Mossy Oak Properties, said “We have long felt Michigan would be a key state for us, and were determined to find the right person to begin our journey there.  Brandon Cropsey is without question that person, and his knowledge of rural land, commitment to honor and integrity, and service to his clients will enable his brokerage to continue to grow as the leader in Southern Michigan rural real estate brokerage.”
