The National Rifle Association and the Pursuit Channel have entered a long-term partnership to promote, strengthen and preserve the outdoor lifestyle enjoyed by tens of millions of Americans. NRA and Pursuit will support this partnership collaboratively on national television and through a host of associated media, including social sites, electronic member and subscriber drives and print and electronic publications.

The leading edge of the partnership begins July 5, 2013 with the Q3 launch of "NRA Freedom Fridays presented by Cheaper Than Dirt!," a premium lineup of firearm-centric shooting shows. An hour of 3 Gun Nation will cap the block, which begins Fridays with Trigger Time featuring Troy Guillotte at 8:00 p.m. EST. American Airgunner and its new host, Rossi Morreale, is next, followed by American Trigger Sports TV, Gun Talk, Doug Koenig's Championship Season and Guns and Gear. A full hour of the NRA sponsored 3 Gun Nation concludes these great nights of action-packed primetime.

A second block of programming, "NRA Outdoors," is also under development for Q3 2013. From big-game hunting to wingshooting, the television shows featured under the NRA Outdoors banner will observe the pro-hunting, pro-shooting activities protected by sportsmen and leading unification organizations like the NRA. The NRA will provide the network with a series of tips on gear selection and practical personal safety, which will also be available through other Pursuit Channel media outlets.

NRA-logo_ll"This alliance is a great chance to celebrate our rich outdoor heritage and lifestyle," said Wayne LaPierre, CEO and Executive Vice President of the NRA. "The NRA's fight for freedom begins and ends with the true-blue beliefs that generations of Americans hold dear. This partnership with Pursuit Channel gives the NRA another effective vehicle to stay connected to those Americans, while introducing a new audience to the world of sport shooting and hunting."

"The NRA partnership is a natural fit for our growing media company," said Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit Channel. "The NRA protects what our viewers love - and our viewers love the NRA, simple as that. One cannot overstate the pride we have in partnering with the NRA."

Established in 1871, the NRA and its membership represent the most powerful Second Amendment advocacy group in the world. Visit www.nra.org to join the fight to protect your freedoms.
