Foraging for Ramps
Foragers take to the woods every March through May in hopes of finding green gold poking out of the thawing forest ground in the form of the wild edible ingredient known as ramps.
Outdoors people across the world are aspiring to become conservationists, satisfied more by creating and providing habitat for wildlife than hunting. The harvest of wildlife is and always will be a highlight, but it’s more a part of the whole.
