Pursuit Channel Announces Impressive Audience Growth

Pursuit Channel has announced significant increases in the breadth and depth of the network’s year-over-year (YOY) Average Audience for hunting shows, both in primetime and on weekends, including: a 25 percent increase on weeknights from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., M-SU, and a 41 percent increase on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*

Showcasing dozens of leading hunting shows and outdoor television series, Pursuit Channel continues its growth on multiple platforms in several time slots.

Further, regarding all key male demos from January 2018, Pursuit opens the year with margins that significantly separate the network from its nearest competitor. Regarding these unprecedented surges, representatives for America’s most accessible broadcast and digital outdoor platform point to organic growth, timing and promotion.

“There are a variety of factors that contribute to such dramatic increases,” said Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit. “Great new programming coupled with a deep stable of legacy shows airing on the network, more brand awareness through partnerships with top magazines and organizations, and the conversion of millions of homes to HD are significant in this rise.”

The network represents the only outdoor-television basic-tier game in town for millions of households actively engaged with the largest satellite footprints in the world.”

He added that Pursuit’s leadership position in the delivery of high-definition programming was a valuable asset in drawing and retaining both viewers and the most successful outdoor television producers in the business. “Reciprocal promotions with massive print and online audiences, to include the likes of Deer and Deer Hunting  and Ducks Unlimited, have also enhanced awareness and added viewership for Pursuit,” he concluded.

Mossy Oak Fishing's Jordan Lee Wins Back to Back Bassmaster Classics
Jordan Lee, member of the Mossy Oak Fishing Team won his second consecutive. Bassmaster Classic at the March 16-18 event on Lake Hartwell in Greenville, South Carolina. Winning the title and becoming one of three people to ever win back-to-back Bassmaster Classic World Champion titles was Jordan Lee. Lee joins the likes of Rick Clunn and Mossy Fishing Team Leader, Kevin VanDam to have won back-to-back Classic titles in the entire history of the event.
