Mossy Oak Properties’ Fox Hole Shoot Out is an annual wild game dinner, auction, and golf tournament held in West Point, Mississippi.
Each year’s event gets even bigger and even better. This year’s golf tournament was totally sold out as usual, and the golfers had a great time playing on both the Mossy Oak Golf Course and the Old Waverly Golf Course.
The wild game dinner was cooked all day by chefs Rob Lesley, Joe Denomme, Ty Thames, Craig Verhage, and Matt Molina.

That all doesn't even include the raw bar, which included fresh oysters on the half shell, fresh shrimp, and fresh tuna ceviche from a tuna driven in by our friend Kevin Beach, deep sea fishing guide in Venice, Louisiana.
There was a huge table for folks to browse the silent auction, and it included about 100 items like custom knife sets, turkey calls, blinds, grills, binos, bows, and more. There were a few unbelievable one-of-a-kind items, too.
Like the Bottomland Scotty Cameron putter that included a custom leather headcase and grip. This putter sold for $4,450.
Or the Gibson Les Paul with a Fall Foliage Pick Guard, an incredible custom gift that went for $2,050.
And the Gibson J-45 dipped in Original Break-up that went for $3,550.
And a hand painted Turtlebox speaker depicting a scene of a fox that went for $950.
The silent auction kept people engaged all night, and the live auction offered a lot of excitement.
A hunting trip with Toxey and Cuz, a catfish fishing trip with Bill Dance, a hunting trip with the Drurys, a day of deep sea fishing, and a Mossy Oak Kennels puppy were some of the big items auctioned off to the crowd.
But the biggest item on the live auction was the Mr. Fox Gun of the Year. It was two guns, in fact—a 12 ga and 28 ga Benelli Black Eagle. The “Pass It On” set. Perfect for a parent and child to have matching guns—and the guns were decorated with Bottomland and emblazoned with the Mr. Fox symbol on the stock. These guns sold for $31,000 to a local friend of the brand.
This year's event, from the nationally renowned golf courses to the nationally renowned wild game chefs, was an absolute success in our humble small town of West Point, Mississippi. We're looking forward to figuring out the total number of money the day raised for charity--last year was around $200,000--and we're looking forward to next year already.
