Mr. Fox Haas 1930 - 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved Mr. Fox has flown up to his heavenly roost. Mr. Fox passed peacefully in his home, with his wife Evelyn and three children, Shurley, Toxey and Nina, by his side. His house was full of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren until the day he died, and through his bedroom window, turkeys and deer still passed through his backyard

Fox Haas Inducted into Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame

The 13th Annual Legends of the Outdoors National Hall of Fame has included Fox Haas, father of Mossy Oak Founder Toxey Haas, in its 2014 class of inductees. Fox Haas was instrumental in the re-establishment of wild turkeys in east central Mississippi, hosting one of the region's first successfully transplanted flocks on land under his control in the 1970s.
