Mossy Oak Joins Sportsmen’s Alliance as Business Partner

SportsmensAlliance_webAnti-hunters spew false information and manipulate facts when it comes to wildlife and habitat management. It can be seen every day on social media and in the news. Fortunately, the Sportsmen’s Alliance isn’t the only organization that recognizes the serious threat anti-hunters pose to the identity and existence of the outdoor community.

Mossy Oak, an iconic brand in the outdoor industry, has joined the Sportsmen’s Alliance at the Leader’s Club level in an effort to address these very issues. By becoming a business partner of the Sportsmen’s Alliance, they reinforce the need for other companies to step up to the plate and defend hunters, anglers and trappers from legislation that affects their way of life.

“The anti-hunting rhetoric that plagues modern media is stronger today than at any point in history. From mainstream liberal media skewing facts and disregarding science, to social media attacks that extend all the way to death threats. Enough is enough,” said Ben Maki, Chief Marketing Officer for Mossy Oak. “Mossy Oak is proud to sponsor an organization like the Sportsmen’s Alliance whose sole charter is to fight back through legislation and direct action.”

Business partners like Mossy Oak play a variety of crucial roles, including spreading the Sportsmen’s Alliance’s message on social media and informing sportsmen of legislative issues.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with our newest business partner, Mossy Oak. They understand the real threats sportsmen face and the importance of the Sportsmen’s Alliance mission,” said Sportsmen’s Alliance Vice President of Membership and Development, Sean Curran. “Together will be building a relationship that benefits sportsmen across the country by further allowing the Sportsmen’s Alliance to combat anti-hunting efforts in legislation, at the ballot box and in the courtroom. Where ever the threat exists, the Sportsmen’s Alliance will be there to defeat it.”
