Mossy Oak, outdoors industry leader in camouflage design, is proud to announce it has signed a sponsorship deal with Bass Pro Shops’ “The Habit” on The Sportsman Channel.
“Bass Pro Shops has been a long-time business partner, and we’re excited to now join them on ‘The Habit,’” said Toxey Haas, founder and CEO of Mossy Oak. “These guys are prime examples of what Mossy Oak is all about, which is passion for hunting, conservation and the outdoors.”
“The Habit” is an action-packed, crazy different TV show about hunting and bowfishing that showcases the true spirit of the outdoors. Viewers of “The Habit” can check out the wild adventures of Bass Pro Shops own John Paul Morris along with Chuck Belmore and Jon Justice on The Sportsman Channel, Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Morris, Belmore and Justice travel the country doing everything from hunting elk out West and whitetail in Kentucky to shooting carp in Missouri and chasing sharks along the Gulf of Mexico. The trio has partnered with Sub7, a well-known name in outdoors television production, for this fast-paced, personality driven show.
“The Habit” is way more than hunting and bowfishing. It’s about three great friends having a blast living a true outdoors lifestyle and juggling their day jobs amid all the madness. “The Habit” is hosted by Morris, an accomplished hunter and RedHead® Pro Hunting Team member; Belmore, a Georgia native and 2011 World Bowfishing Champion; and avid outdoorsman, Justice.
When not chasing big game or arrowing carp, Morris heads up Bass Pro Shops online store while Belmore operates his local plumbing business, and Justice stays busy as an asphalt/concrete contractor. Despite their busy lives, they find time to enjoy those outdoors habits that have become second nature.
“Some habits such as bowfishing and hunting are way too fun and are definitely not meant to be broken,” said Morris. “The outdoors is a way of life for Chuck, Jon and me, and we work hard to juggle work schedules and family time so we can feed our outdoors habits. We’re pumped that we can partner with an iconic company like Mossy Oak and share our adventures with everyone”.
“The biggest compliment that we receive is ‘Y’all are just like my buddies; we do the same thing. It’s like watching us on TV’” said Belmore. “We all have to work but come heck or high water, we are going to find a way to get outside and hunt. We never take ourselves too seriously. We all have to be serious at work and when it comes to the outdoors, we cut loose. When we get to go hunting it is about having fun, cutting up, and being successful with your buddies.”
In addition to the Sunday at 8 p.m. airing, viewers can also tune into The Sportsman Channel to catch “The Habit” on Thursdays at 5 a.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. all times Eastern. For more information, visit http://thehabit.tv/.
