Darkhorse Archery is one of those places. The bow shop in Orange Grove, Texas, is a well-loved local shop and training center that serves its community well while also giving back to veterans and children in the name of the fallen marine Colton Rusk.

After losing both legs in Afghanistan, the owner and founder of Darkhorse Archery Justin Rokohl discovered archery as his personal path to healing. Justin’s exploration of archery grew into a thriving foundation that has given away more than 300 bows to veterans and holds archery lessons for all who are willing to learn.

Darkhorse Archery and Justin’s selfless work serves as a reminder of the incredible impact that hunting can have.
