Ran down into the woods this morning after work with a call to see if I could produce a gobble, but those tight old gents weren't speaking yet. Could have been because of the weather, it's foggy and about to rain, but they should be gobbling by now

| They're not yet gobblin' here (Illinois, just east of STL) either. Saw a great 4-tom fight yesterday, but haven't heard any smooth talkin' yet. Just glad to see them struttin' and fightin'.

I heard my first gobble on a clear Sunday morning a week and a half ago (3/7). A friend told me he heard his first the Saturday before (3/1). I just wish I had more time to get out and listen.
