The big brown truck stopped by my house Monday evening and dropped off this.

After a couple of days of rain I finally had the opportunity to open it.

Unfolded and set up, here is the inside.

Here it is sitting in the same location in my front yard, looking at the outside.

And here it is in the middle of a cut corn field.

I'm looking forward to trying this out in the woods tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll
see some deer so I can see their reaction (or lack of reaction hopefully).

I've seen those mirror blinds on TV. I'm interested to know what you think on them. Does it seem durable and will last? Looking forward to a field report to, good luck!

It seems pretty durable Adam. The mirror part is made of industrial mylar, and the wall material is polystyrene foam. Yes, it can be scratched and dented, but that should not affect its performance. I plan to use it tomorrow morning so we'll see how it goes.

The best part of the whole thing.........I won this blind on the Ghost Blind website.

That is cool! How reflective is it? Is it reflective enough for the sun to glare off of it? I need something like that to bowhunt out of.

I saw those online...neat concet. I sure could have used one yesterday! Give us a full report after use and after a deer has cruised by.

Haha, that is awesome! Never seen that before.

Definitely let us know how deer react to/around it, Aaron.
Oh, how much are they, if ya don't mind....

I sat it up in the woods Saturday morning and sat behind it all day. It was sunny, so at 3:30 I looked to see what the front looked like and one panel did have a little glare where I was standing. It would definitely be better on cloudy days. The only deer I saw came in from behind me (pretty much how my year has been going), so I didn't get to test their reaction. I'll be using it more on mid-December muzzleloader hunts on a particular farm where I sit on the edge of a big field and wait for deer to enter at dusk. I'll update more then. The blind lists for $299. You can find out more at GhostBlind.com.
