I am disappointed to see so few new posts when I visit. Hopefully everyone is to busy in the woods.
I know it can't be work cuz that's where I do most of my posts

It's been way slow here for awhile, prolly a combined problem of work and to many pop-up boxes 
I plan on gettin out for early nothern zone bear this weekend, and do some scoutin for a good tree to get in for next weekends early archery opener. Don't wait too long to get that lifetime!! It's goin up to $765 after 9/30!!

A buddy at work is going up Friday for bear. May be heading to camp for too for early deer. Good Luck

Good luck fellas!
Our Urban Archery came in Tuesday (9/15), and I was able to hunt the evening hunt on the opener. I saw a thin horned, apprx 120" 9 pointer, 3 does, and 2 fawns. The 9 was at about 80yds, and the closest doe came to EXACTLY the same distance, because she followed him IN HIS FOOTSTEPS!! Maybe 15 seconds behind him... WTF???
I also got to hunt Wed evening, saw a 3 pointer, a doe, and a fawn.
Haven't been out since................. but will be back in the tree FIRST THING IN THE MORN!! And it's supposed to be quite a bit cooler this weekend!

Good luck.....been workin and gettin ready for season. Bow opens next Saturday.
Putting up some ladder stands and feeders for youth gun season, this weekend.
Shooting bow in eveings.
