I need a good set of Binoculars and am also shopping rangefinders. I have narrowed it down to Nikon and Leupold 10 x 42 Binos's and maybe the new Bushnell Scout 1000 with ARC rangefinder. I want a rangefinder suited for bow or rifle hunting.

I doubt if you really need a range finder.

By now, if you have been shooting your bow for a couple of months and you have your spot picked out, you will know about how far it is to the nearest tree and stump.

Bino's, I always limit myself to what ever is on sale. No use spending good beer money on a set of Bino's that you might loose while out in the woods.

Even archery hunting, the deer has to get in pretty close before you can shoot them and by the time they get in to 25 yards, you won't need no bino's to see big antlers.
