These were my first birds ever! They were taken on April 18, 2008. This is a very special date for me because I had a repeat performance on April 18, 2009! Thanks Mickey! Sorry no pics of '09 bird! It was 17.5lbs 11in. beard 1 in. spurs!!

Thanks, me too! The last day was awesome even if me and my hunting buddie didnt kill one. We saw 5 jakes and 3 gobblers. 2 came within shootin range but we didnt feel comfortable taking the shot. 1 came up silent from behind my buddie(15 yds) while we were trying to get some jakes to come in and I thought he was the decoy until it was to late!! I tried to text him on the cell but couldnt do it fast enough(I need to take lessons from my son)We had a good laugh at that one!
Can't wait till next spring!!!!!!
