i shoot easton axis i love them they might not be the best for target shooting but the penetration i get hunting is amazing. i took a less than perfect shot on a doe last year shot her in the chest and the arrow came out her hind quarter. i was only 15 yards away on the ground only reason i took the shot. i shot gold tips for alot of years and just did not get the penetration from them. the durability of the axis is also better.

Beware the man who only has one gun. HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!

I shoot the same arrows for both - Easton Axis FMJ 340's

For me I target shoot at the indoor range, but I'm not a Archery Target Match shooter as I'm still practicing for hunting. Even if I were shooting the 3D Matches I would still use my Easton Axis FMJ arrows.

I switched fron Gold Tip to Victory Arrows. The Victory's seem more durable and straighter out of the tube.

I use Bohning Double Lock Nocks. Can't use turbo nocks and Fobs. it would be counter productive.

I've tried many different arrows over the years and I keep coming back to the X Weaves. They are strong and fly true. Get a few of each and try them yourself will be the only way you'll be satisfied.

I'm a big fan of the slim tech arrows from Easton & Beman like the Axis and the MFX shafts for hunting. I like the extra weight you get with them and they have been tough as nails for me in the past...I'm shooting the Beman MFX 340's now and they are a great hunting arrow. My 27.5" arrows weigh in around 435grs with a 4" wrap & 3 Blazers and a 100gr broadhead.
