I am tired of putting 7mm amo downrange into varmints!
Looking into a .223 rifle AR style, need some input and see if anyone has used the rifle I am looking to buy. I am looking into the Rock River Arms rifles. A couple people I have talked to (one shoots 3 gun competition) have said that these are the best bang for your buck rifles out there. You can get a custom rifle put to gether to your specs for $1,100.00 - the optics that is up to you. You can choose different foregrip, barrels, optic rails, barrel twists etc. and still come in $300 under a stock S&W M&P.
Any input?

I was looking at the same gun. I was thinking of building one by buying parts and putting one together to my specs, but the way it's looking now alot of parts are n/a and there is such a long wait if you can get them. I'm gonna guess it'll probably be the same to buy a completed gun from a manufacturer. I have a savage mdl 110 in the 22-250, that is a sweet gun and a deadly tack driver. It would be nice to have a 30rd'er snapped on the bottom of a semi though, when a pack of yotes come to the call!

Agree with ya Blazin. Took the 2250 out last night yote huntin but didnt see anything. The 22-250 is just a sweet shootin gun! The 223 is pretty good to but its all on what ya want and prefer. But the 22-250 is just an awsome gun. Actually shot my first buck with that gun. Its a savage 110E. Good guns!!

| Yeah the guy at the gun store did say it was a 12 week waiting period on a complete gun. I didn't ask him about part availability.

| I like the 223 AR personally, but why don't you go to your local gun show so you can have the pick of the litter, and be able to handle it first hand right on the spot to see what you like and don't like and you don't have to wait 12 weeks to get it either!!! A little pricey but you can also go to Brownells online and build your own AR and put what ever you want on it. They have an AR-15/M16 parts book that you can get sent to your home for free too!! SHOOT WELL AND EAT GOOD!!
