I am just wondering if anyone has used the suit in the field yet and what are your comments? How are the functional aspects (pocket variations, quietness, etc) and also how do you like the new Mossy Oak Treestand pattern thus far?

I have the standard Dream Season suit in treestand. It is quiet and comfortable, but def. not windproof. Hopefully the pro is a bit warmer. you definitely need to layer some warm stuff when it gets cold. Plenty of pockets that have zippers, not velcro, and the hood cinces up tight. Overall it's a great suit, I just wish it was a bit warmer, but that's not really a big deal. As for treestand as a pattern, I can't believe how well it works. I had at least ten (I wasn't really counting) deer within 5 yards of my tree and the ones that looked up at me never spooked. I was in a very small tree (I was only about 10 feet high) in my climber one evening and had a doe within 3 yards of my tree for over 15 minutes. She looked up at me several times, but she never even acted skittish at all. She eventually walked off none the wiser. I absolutely love this pattern.

I know the Dream Season Pro has a removable full length wool insulating layer so hopefully that will make that suit much warmer!

Although I do not own it myself, I was reading reviews on the pants for the dream season pro and some of the guys were saying that their pants ripped right away. I think the sewing around the zipper was pulling away. And he said that scent blocker would not back it, but the store where he bought it did. I think it was on the cabelas web sight. It may be a fluke, but it wouldn't hurt to read what others are saying, I was going to buy their pants, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm looking at the mossy oak full draw pants now since I bought the jacket on sale at Gander. Unfortunatly the pants they had on sale were way to big for me, so I'll probably have to buy them at full price.

I have them on some new boots I got at Cabelas. I wanted high grain thinsulate and tall boots. I did not even notice secnt lock was 'included" and is never a feature I look for anyway. Stay clean, keep you hunting duds clean and use no-scent sprays. My formula has been working fine like that for over 25 years
