I have a hang on stand that squeeks when you step on it a certian way. It's has an expanded medal platform welded onto the frame. I was thinking about putting some kind of lube on it for now to quite it down. Any ideas of something that wouldn't stink up the area? Any other quick solutions?

Is there a way that you could put some rubber around the area that is making the noise?

Well, the only vasilene here stinks so it looks like a little veggie oil will have to do for now.

Thanks!

Is it a chain on deal? Could you add a cinch strap to hug it tighter to the tree?

I plan on gathering them all next week. I took a closer look and it's welded every other crossing only. I'll have to fix that!
