Ray and I took Hank up to some public land about 30minutes north of us on sunday and Logan and I did again monday. They stock it with birds but this place gets HAMMERED. It is the first public hunting land North of NYC. We didn't manage to get on any pheasants but it sure was fun, Hank did great and it was great for his training. He worked the property like a seasoned pro, even hough he is only 16months old. He knew what we were after, because quite a few times he got all "birdy" and found us a few feathers and even a wing way back in a thicket, of birds that had been shot earlier in the season. He even locked up on point inside of one thicket but the bird was some sort of wood thrush and not a game bird. He listened great and needed correction with the E-collar only twice. We stopped by a pond and just relaxed for a bit while Hank cooled down by going for a swim. Sunday was absolutely beautiful and i wish I had the camera. Monday was overcast, but Logan still got some great pics. We

It's been said already, but GREAT PICTURES! I don't get many chances to follow a pointer. When I do get to go though, the best part is watching a good dog work. Get some more pictures to us!

I got my GSP last August and am going to start training her soon. Some are some great pics, and a good looking dog. Good luck this season.
