i do not have a dog but am looking to get one within the next couple years. i would use it for pheasant hunting only pretty much, maybe dove on occassion. I'm really lookin at gettin a silver lab, if not then probably just a yellow lab.

I have two labs, Tim is a black lab and RIPS is a yella. Tim just turned one and had a quite successful year this year, the first dove I shot he retrieved. He ended up only missing one retrieve for the year then went on to retrieving ducks and rabbits. RIPS is just 7 weeks old but is showing potential, seems to be a bright pooch so I'll see. I plan on attempting to make train him for pointing upland. Lastly I am taking on a Chesapeake Bay because no one else can get her to settle down so I may have my hands full with that. Next I want a German Wirehair but that won't be for a while.

Here are some pics. of Tim and his hunts. The first is a picture of him launching from the bank after a downed duck on a state hunt. Next is Tim with some rabbits he retrieved and lastly is Tim with a buddy of mine and some retrieved doves.
