After checking this cam yesterday I realized where I should have been turkey hunting. So I headed there for flydown this morning, boom and he ran off. I don't know, paced it off at 35 yards. Guess I should have tried to get him closer. This is the last week of the season.

It's also time to put dad's shotgun away and use something in 3". I gave it a good chance this year.

The birds have been quite off the roost for me, this one gobbled all the way in. I'm not giving up yet.

And tough luck for sure with the 35 yarder!

I think you might be right though... about upsizing a little.... 3"

I've got a 3 1/2" MAGNUM.

And I recommend the little blue pill for you too
