My Outback still has original string on it and it's time to replace it. Was looking to replace with a custom string or the new Zebra string. Please give me some names of strings so I can do research, or give me a recommendation please. Thanks

I put a winners choice on my XT and loved it...won't be long and I'll be putting one on my DLD.

There are SO MANY string builders out there it is hard to narrow it down....dealing with the little guys can be hit or miss....trust me here..YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I have had great luck with Bucknasty (on Archerytalk).

Winner's Choice is probably the top string set out there right now.

If I was going to buy a bigger company's strings.............. I too would pick the Winner's Choice for my bow.

I just recently put custom strings on my bow too, but I went with a highly reputable string maker that is local to the Indianapolis area.

Good luck with your "choice"

Winner's Choice a really good string! Good choice! Just like was said before a lot of good strings out there, it basically boils down to choice.

Check out Xtreme Strings..........I shoot for them and I have not had any of my guys get a bad set. Everyone told me my Apex 7 would chew up servings. I'm still shooting the string with same servings and well over 1500 shots. He has the tightest servings I have ever seen. A buddy of mine helps robert build them. He said that he serves them so tight that you can see the ink bleeding out as he wraps them.

Well, I got a set of custom strings that were recommended to me by the Matthews dealer nearest me. Says he installs a couple hundred of them a year on bows at his shop. I went with these because they are made fairly locally and seemed to be extremely well put together. Sorry, but I can't remember their name to put here Bow shoots noticeably better with them. I appreciate all the input I got from you guys
