Not to be a killjoy, but I think there is more to be lost than gained in this. The choice is ultimately yours though.

Hey dude, just because some of us advised against it does not mean hope or are waiting for you to fail.

You came on here and asked for opinions, and you got them. Most of which from folks who are considerably older than you and have learned allot from life's lessons...good and bad.

Now I said I advised against it, not because YOU personally cannot do it. But, because at over twice your age, I have a little more life experience and I would advise any and every one your age who asked against it.

Bottom line, you NEED to stick to you plan for the military or carry your young and easily influenced brain to college.

You have to know that I have been in your shoes on MANY occasions. I sat wringing my hands thinking of how awesome it was gonna be...

But when I asked for advice from those I respected, and they gave me their best...I accepted it and it weighed heavy in my decisions to go forward.

Life is nothing more than making decisions and then dealing with the consequences (good and bad). You will not understand that fully for at least another 20 years.

Whatever you choose, remember this thread on this old Mossy Oak Forum 2 or 3 years from now. I'll be looking for a follow up.

Like I said before, good luck.

We definitely don't want to see you fail bro. That's BS... Most of us all have had experience doing business with friends and we don't want to see you fail.

Get your ducks in a row. The most important thing your gonna have to figure out is how you divide the assets and liabilities for the business. Get incorporated first and foremost. You don't want to have a partnership, it could come to haunt you down the road (trust me on that).

Good luck man. It does sound like an awesome gig... I'll definitely come have a beer there if it goes through.
