After having the week of Ninja's, as my buddy called it. Our first week resulted in 2 birds being shot out from under us before they got within range of us.

We decided to go to a buddies camp in Potter County this past weekend. We hunted Friday and Saturday. Friday early morning resulted in another ninja'd bird. Later that morning, we had a bird answer us and my buddy discovered he had nine lives. He dropped the bird with the first shot, and while we were celebrating his 2nd turkey ever, it got up and started running, my buddy dropped it again with a second shot, only to have it get up a fly away never to be seen again.

Guess thats why they call it hunting and not shooting

I'll be out again before work and this comming saturday, hopefully get a bird to finally come in.

Sounds like your birds are not only
Ninja, but sporting ballistic feathers too!
Better luck to you this weekend.

The birds aren't the ninja's, it's other hunters too lazy to do thier own calling

I'll be out again Saturday to try and nail one down, hopefully or else it's double tag soup this year
