well since turkey season is out, i decided to try out my pond, cought a pretty good mess .. i was using just a hook and crickets and i would catch a couple shad and the largemouth bass would get them before i could, here's the results:





i don't know how much this bass weighed but it was a monster! i did keep some fish, not this one considering it's probably a big breeder...

lol,,, nah that's actually a bluegill that i kept, it was pretty big too.. ducks brought in some wild shad fish, they almost look like swamp pike, they only grow about 10 inches long, max.. with orange fins, really boney fish but the bass tear them up! i was actually fishing for brim (panfish for you northerner's) and the shad would bite and bass would get them before i do.. it was pretty fun!
