| I don't remember how many tags are issued every year, but there are quite a few Elk in a very small area. I belong to a private club in northern Michgan that allows non-members to come in and hunt every year. Quite a few people in my family, including myself, have guided on these hunts. It can be a lot of fun, and the success rate has been very high for us.
