Whoever you have doing your taxidermy has a good eye. The nose work looks great, and the eyes especially with the white banded eyes, give it a great alive look, and are hard to get right, but they nailed it. Most folks just view the mount as something that holds there antlers, you got yourself a real peice of art there, and a memory you will invision every time you look at it. Skinner

yes its a nice buck and i'll say that bow hunting can be difficult. hopefully you'll wait on bucks like that so they get bigger next year. Depending on where you live and hunt. I'm in Iowa and we got some nice bucks i'll post a pic of my dad's 197 non typically sometime plus my friend shot a huge 203 a few years ago. Now its up to me to follow in his footsteps. Good luck to you.

And Paint the wall a different color. it looks like poo. jk

Boone, I live in Minnesota. Where I live is about 30 miles to Iowa border. Yes, I do see MASSIVE bucks around Minnesota that's close to Iowa border. Heck, I would say that Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Minnesota do produce massive bucks. I grew up in Ohio and have seen plenty of massive bucks. I will not compare or discount any other state that produce massive bucks. The way I see'em, if the area have massive buck, I'm there to shoot him. Enuff said.

Joe, awesome looking buck! However, I got a problem seeing that blue wall! LOL! Change'em wall into camo pattern, it'll be all good n gravy. Peace!
