what do you guys like to hunt the most ?

I have to say I'm a puddler guy but I do hit the divers pretty hard 5-6 times a year.

this is an Obsession ,and I thank GOD for it.

Chasing a duck that don't eat fish is/was my fav. Shooting them fish eaters tends to be more of a shoot than a hunt...kinda like dove hunting, only dove taste good.

I agree with oz. Its hard to call hunting for divers even hunting. You can sit there on a bank wide open and seem to fill you bag limit with divers. Its more like shooting than anything else. Not to mention they are the hardest to breast/clean in my opinion. Puddlers all the way.

well actually I like to hunt certain species of divers , canvasbacks [ for example ] don't eat as many fish as you think , they actually eat alot of aquatic vegatation and they were nearly extinct due to market hunting a long time ago meaning they were targeted by market hunters for food .

this is an Obsession ,and I thank GOD for it.

Canvasback is some good eaten duck. Um Um Good.

I don'y care for Ringneck or Scooters of any kind.

right you are , cans taste alot like mallards and gadwalls. I will eat cans and blue bills , but that's where it stops . I do know people who will eat ring necks though.

call it what you want , I call it fun when we're waitin on new flights of mallards to show up.

here is one of my partners hunts last year , I had a guide trip that day.

this is an Obsession ,and I thank GOD for it.

Mostly hunt puddlers around my neck of the woods. Did manage to kill some bluebills and ringers around here this year. Also smoked a redhead drake in Louisiana back in Dec.

Personally, I prefer puddler hunting, both field a water.

But.....if the right opportunity arises, I don't turn down a diver hunt either.
