So me and a buddy were trying to plan a weekend hunt for some Montesano Pigs and we call up every sporting goods store and gun shop and they all say it was a rumor that there are even pigs down there. My question is has anyone here gone and hunted pigs anywhere around there, from the Olympics to Montesano to Aberdeen? I really want to go bag a pig and now im depressed. So someone please tell me differently!!! If not, is there anywhere on the west coast of WA that has pigs or any really good Coyote spots? Let me know please. THANKS

| My hunting partners and I were checking into this also due to an article (http://wdfw.wa.gov/do/newreal/release.php?id=jun2201a) on the Washington State Dept. of fish and wildlife website that said that there were feral pigs near Montesano. My partner called WDFW and he was told that the WDFW brought in a pro pig hunter with dogs to get rid of the pigs. So the problem of feral pigs on the Olympic Penninsula has been taken care of.

I believe the majority of them have been wiped out. I fish the Wynoochee river and they were suppost to be some around there but I have never seen one. I know there are some areas in Eastern Washington to hunt pigs. I am not so sure they are all that wild though.
Welcome to the forum guys. Nice to see some Washington guys on here. Check out the waterfowl forum as well.
