a bunch of us who were on gutpilestyle are ticked at an out of control moderator and have decided to all jump to this site instead. dont worry, we arent gonna cause any greif. he was the problem, not us.
Hello everyone, glad to be here! Former Gutpiler reporting in!!!!! What travo says is true about the power hungry dude over on GPS, he (travo) was backing me up when the MOD was talking crap to me and got banned for it! Don't worry, we are a good bunch of guys, a little off in the head and tend to get crazy from time to time-----but we're just a bunch of good ole boys (never meaning no harm)!!! Hopefully this site allows you to have some fun!!! Shouting out to TRAVO and all my other OUTLAWS!!!!! I look forward to post, reading, laughing, and learning from you folks here at mossyoak.com!

That Hoskins is such a priss..using a shotgun to shoot all those poor defenseless squirrels.
Evey "real" hunter knows only 6yr olds use shotguns.

yup, thats techno, another former gutpiler, covering the topic where it all went wrong. the supercop moderator berated hoskins for using a shotgun on squirrels, and bragged about gettin 50 one season with his hmr. said "soon as you get 50 in one season with a rifle, you can talk" what a crock. i merely pointed out that shotgunning em is as much as, if not more than a challenge cuz ya gotta get in shotgun range to get em, not just within 250 yards of em. told him you need better camo, need to be quieter, and just need to be a better hunter to get that close. he just flat out deleted my post and booted me for a week. ya know, i dont care how ya hunt, just dont berate others about how they choose to. hey, if yer havin fun, yer havin fun, and as long as its safe and ethical, i dont have a prob with it. the guy just needs to be king of the hill, or he feels underendowed or something, i dunno. anyway, good to be here.

Travo I`d like to point out that early season squirrel hunting with anything is fairly easy.
When the squirrels are up in the trees cutting nuts,the foilage still on the trees basically hides you and alot of noise.At the same time that helpfull foilage also hides the squirrels.
Hunting late season with a shotgun I will agree is alot more difficult than with a rifle.You have no foilage to hide you and the squirrels are not stuck in the trees cutting like fools.
Whats funny to me is that mod brags about squirrel hunting yet goes out about 10 times a year and doesn`t even eat them.
I find that "oh I`ll find someone to take them" a bunch of BS!
I will boil squirrels and strip all the meat I can off the bone and feed them to the dogs if I wasn`t going to eat them.
In my mind someone that doesn`t feed or eat them can`t possibly be hunting for the meat...so it has to be for the kill.
If just getting out in the woods was the kicker they would be hiking not hunting....much less killing something.
Everyone is different but when you start pushing "your ideas" and don`t live them...your a fool and anyone with half a brain will see that.
