I have an old Mossberg 500 pump and it doesn't eject shells very well. Is there a way to tear it down far enough to clean EVERY thing or is it just worn out??

I don't know too much about guns other then I like to go BANG!

Take it to a gunsmith, the ejector spring in the bolt is probably worn out and needs to be replaced. Nothing major. Shouldn't be too much. It happens after a few thousands rounds.

have you checked the Mossberg website for a downloadable owners manual? It should tell you how to break it down so you can clean all the nooks and crannys! I've broken them down before while we had them issued to us in Iraq, but I can't really explain it, I just know how to do it! I'd really just have to show someone, but check out the website and see if it can help!

I've been around the site but not real deep, but I might have to do that! Otherwise I'll have to get a turkey with the bow!!!

Good point Hoskins. Every gun manufacturer is required to supply you with an owner's manual upon your request...
