Me & Hilltophunter went out with my dogs for a few hours. I got one & he was bowhunting them. Dogs started a bit slow but started hammeringthem pretty good about 10am. 5-6 good runs. Hilltop did get a shot about 18 yards & hit the rabbit(kinda) unfortunetly the rabbits butt may be a bit cold the rest of the season. I wish I had a camera when he came out with just a tail. Never saw that one before. Seriously we had a good time & dogs did great. He might of killed that rabbit had he been shooting a hoyt????? Mike

Mike that was an awesome morning... thanks for having me. I felt really bad for Jake when he was digging for all he was worth after the "NO" cottontail. I guess I gotta get some practice in shooting in the brush Thanks again bud.

Then on the way home his dogs get to ride shotgun......... I decided too check out the tail again and the freakin female damn near too my thumb off....... I was like holy crap she just ate the tail... Mike saved the day though he almost totaled out the 2500 but he saved my tail (Good thing Jake can steer)

That sounds like fun, I need to get out there and try that one of these days, I'm sure we could kick up one or two on my place!
