That's my favorite hunting. I got started calling coyotes my freshman year in college, way back in 1965, and still enjoy it more than any other type of hunting. I started my son, Justin into calling when he was about 10-12 years old...and he is now 33. We enter a lot of calling contests (one day events) here in western Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. Here is a pic of him and one of his good days in a contest last year.

You and me both. I live in Washington and we have just about everything to hunt Elk, Deer, Moose, goats, Sheep, Pheasant, quail, Grouse, Mountain Lion whatever. I LOVE calling in yotes. Wish I had better luck with cats though, only got one of them so far.
That was a good day holy cow!!!!

Jason....click on the website link on my signature line. We do have a guide service. We also are listed on recommended guides here on Mossy Oak for Oklahoma. Several of the videos on Mossy Oak and (I Think) 7 TV shows were filmed here on my ranch. Also have at least 3 shows waiting to be shown next spring and fall. As far as references, about any of the cameramen that shoots these shows (videos) can give us a reference. Cameraman Steve Bush films here every spring and fall and always brings at least one other cameraman so they can film 4 shows a year here that way.
The zip ties are the way the coyotes are marked and scored for calling contests which we enter. A playing card is signed by both team members and dated and the time of the kill are put on the card. Then the card is placed in the mouth and zip tied shut. The jaw locks up very fast. You are told at 6 AM the morning of the contest which card to start with and the sequence to use for the day. At check-in time, the cards are retrieved and checked. If the sequence is not proper, the team is disqualified. Also the winners are given lie-detector tests to make sure all rules of the hunt were followed. Some of these contests have as many as 100+ teams entered. First prize can pay as much as $2500 + for each team member (usually 2).
It makes for a fun fast-paced day of varmint calling. I just noticed that you can't click the website to visit it, so just copy and paste to wisit our website.....Thanks
