Hey,
I am a little surprised that no one is using conicals. I use No Excuse conicals 460's over 70 grains of 777 in both my Whites, one .50 cal and one .45 cal. Took a Doe with each and neither went more than 20 yards. Also shot XTP's out of my H&R Huntsman.

I have been using 300 gr Knight Sabots in my Remington 700 ML. I get about 4" groups with open sights. I initially used black belt bullets in it (the forerunner to the CVA power belts), but the groups were horrible, it didn't seem to matter what grain I used.
I have a CVA Mountain Stalker that shoots patched balls very well...I will have to use it for all of my hunting since Idaho has now outlawed inlines.

Been using the 250 T/C Shockwave and the Harvester 260 Scorpion PT Gold. Have killed 2 deer with both combos (2&2) and they both killed with authority for me. Both bullets shoot equally well with 1& 1/2 to 2 inch 100 yd. groups being the norm. Not good enough to shoot the balls off a gnat , but good for any deer that ever walked.
