Jim, we shoot 20 targets for $6 here, but they seem to be scared to set the distance out. I don't use anything but my first pin for the entire coarse. But it is good for a little shoot around with the wife who seems to enjoy it.

I have 30 targets for my indoor course and 30 targets for my outdoor course.

I run my indoor shoots from the second week in December thru the end of March. My outdoor course runs from April until September on the second sunday.

For the indoor course I charge $8.00 for the hunter class and $12.00 for the Comp class. On my outdoor course I charge $12.00 for Comp Class, and $8.00 for all adult classes, the kids class is $2.00, cubs class shoot free.

My shoots average 40 to 60 shooters per shoot on my indoor course and approx 20 so far this year average on my outdoor course, with the weather finally warming up here, I think I will see and increase in that as well.

I agree 100 percent! $10/30 Targets is a great deal.

I think 40 targets is too much - takes a larger part of the day out.

I have only shot courses going by the ASA setup. So 20 taregts. However they all have pretty much been $10.00 per round. $20-30 for tournament days. I would say as long as the argument is to improve the facility and make the shoots more enjoyable while smoother running at the same time everyone would understand.

Here in central Indiana, they are all 40 targets, some with 2-4 bonus targets throughout the course. The average is $10. There is one that puts on a little better/fun shoot, and with all Rineharts........ and they charge $12.

Most all of them have hot food and hot/cold drinks for cheap! One has biscuits & gravy in the mornings!!!

But 40 targets for $10-12. Scoring is: 0,5,8,10,11. Possible 440 High Score.

I've yet to shoot a 40 target course, seems everyone has gone from 28 to 30...

$8 is CHEAP!

All the courses around here are 20 targets. It's normally $10 for fun round, $15 for money round. The bigger tourneys around here are $25 to $30.

Some of you know I run our club 3-D shoots.

Well this year we are going from $8 to $ 10. Everybody has been at 10 for the past few years except us.

My questions are ......

I am also thinking about going to 30 targets instead of 40. We have a few stations that are doubled up and a lot of guys complain and says that it slows the course down.

How many targets do you guys shoot at?
How much are the clubs charging for the shoots?
Do you think that raising the price and dropping the targets is to drastic in one year?

Most clubs around us only have 30 stations.

Let me know what you think.
