How to post a picture

I just brought this over from the old forum.

If anyone is having problems posting a pic. Follow these steps and maybe it will help.

1. Save the pictures on your computer in a place where you can easily find them.

2. Go to www.photobucket.com and register an account.

3. Once you have your account, you have several different options on what size to make your picture. If you look under "Uploading Options" you will see different sizes. I use "Message Board" (640 X 480).

4. Once you have the size you need, click on "Browse" and find the image(s) that you had previously saved on your computer. You can do this by double clicking on the file name. If you want to upload multiple images, click on "Add More Images."

5. Once you have selected your image(s) click on the "Upload" option. Once you do this, you should see your image with three things under it. "Url" "Tag" and "Img" codes.

6. Go to www.MossyOak.com and start a new topic or reply to a topic. Type whatever you need to say about the picture and then copy and paste the "Img" code into the box. It is easier to do this if you have 2 screens pulled up at the same time. One for Mossy Oak and the other for Photobucket.

7. The last thing to do is hit the "Post New Topic" button at the bottom of the screen. If you are not sure you did it correct, hit the "Preview Post" button and it will give you a preview of what your post will look like.

I have a lot of nice pictures from this deer in 2008 and now in 2009. I've posted last year's picture for comparison. Last year early season he traveled with another bigger 11 point. This year he's been hanging out with a 4x2 messed up cull buck. I hope the other 11 pt made it. I've only had my two cameras out for 2 weeks. 1180 pictures on one and 450 on the other. I'm going to keep Duracell in business with that many pictures.

The Velvet is Gone

as of this past weekend, the deer here have started losing velvet, a buddy of mine killed a nice 8 point which was solid bone monday and here's a few pictures of this same 6 pointer i've been capturing on camera for quite some time now...

this one is a picture of me walking up to the camera to check # of pictures, my stand is in the top right of the pic

doe and yearling i watched right at dark

me afterwards, checking trigger speed, which isn't good at all

The two stick looking horns to the left. Are they something that is glaring of a limb or is it antlers? Theres also no limbs that thick to the left of the camera, But let me have some opinions.

Got this pic the other night . If you compare the size , the back height on this critter is about belly high on a 2 year old deer standing in the same area .

I damn near crapped when I saw these, not one but four sets of horn in the Biologic clover plus and during daylight hours too! I'm just glad to see them coming to it after the time I put in it!

Velvet shedding Kansas bucks

Hello,

I am from Kansas and we have had some tremendous luck this summer with our trail cams. This last week we took pictures of some big deer shedding their velvet. Took a card out of a camera today, after looking through all the doe, fawn, turkey & 1.5 year old buck pics I found this guy....Looks to be a decent deer, hopefully I can get some more pics of him before season comes in. Notta giant, but a pretty decent deer. Is Oct. 1st ever gonna get here??

Went and pulled a card tonight....had 5 different bucks on there, 2 were 1.5 year olds "4 pt & 7pt", had a nice 8pt that I think is 2.5 years old and will make a stud in a few years, had deer that I think is 3.5 that's but ugly and the 2 in the pics I'm posting here...Pretty sure they are both 3.5 year old bucks. They get a free pass from me, I'm not planning on trying to shoot either one of them.

So I had my Wildview 5.0 cam out on our property upstate and I got some pics of a few things.. The time is off by 12 hours so don't get confused.

I can't wait for October. These bucks get me so excited.. I'm trying to work on my breathing so when the moment of truth presents itself, I'll be under control but I can't make any promises

Just pulled the card for the first time in a few days and man these bucks are looking great. The one buck that we suspect to be the wide 8 is looking amazing. I'm 99.9% sure it's him. Waiting for the weak left G3 to confirm it, but so far it looks like him.

First of all, I want you guys to see how big he got in 2 days. Here's a pic from May 27th:

Now here's 2 pics from last night.. Check out how the bulb for his G2 started to come out and his main beam is curving already, in just 2 days!

Here's two other bucks that look like twins. One just seems to have better browtines:

And here's another buck that we know is a return from last year. His name is Sticker. He has a sticker on his right base. He showed up on the scene last year and disappeared come deer season, but thanks to trail cam pics, it shows it's him from last year from not only the sticker, but the scar on his nose:

To say I'm excited for October would be an understatement. I think I'm gonna go shoot the Mathews right now.

Me and Romer got us a cheap Cudde......... paid $175 for it with 4 memory cards. Got it from another friend. We are really liking the ease of this cam... and the pics ain't half bad either!

I'm only uploading 3 pics for now. And btw, today we moved the feeder back about 4 feet, and turned it slightly.

Just got home from a weekend of turkey hunting at the place upstate and first thing I did was I pulled the card out of my trail camera.. And man oh man am I impressed.. It's amazing how fast velvet grows and now with turkey season winding down, I truly can't wait for October.

Man.. with all the rain we had this spring I got all frustrated saying it was gonna hurt the turkey hunting with flooded nests and active hens but it was gonna benefit the bucks big time with antler growth and indeed it has. According to what the pics look like from this time last year, their velvet is about 2 weeks ahead. And I'm not complaining at all. One buck looks like he's gonna be a real good one, possibly the Wide 8 from years past (some of you know that story) or maybe a different buck. If it's the Wide 8 then he's 5 years old and very smart.
Another buck has what appears to be a sticker growing on his right base. We had a buck with a sticker in the same spot last year but he disappeared in the middle of the summer. This is definitely him because I checked back into last years pics and you could see the scar on his nose that matches up. But anyway.. I've rambled enough.. Here's the pics...
