As to not crap on Romer's plaque thread in the Classifieds section... I'm replying to Aaron's statement here.....................

The section covering up the jake's back feathers, was to be for a brass "name plate" that I was going to have made with the information about the bird, (weight, place, etc) on it. I called several places after the mount was done, trying to find someone to make me a brass name plate, but wasn't successful at the time.......... and I've kinda let it go since then. I need to get back on that though!

But I really do like the finished mount on it......... and the plaque that Romer made for me, REALLY helps set it off!

Here is my Jake, mounted up on one of those awesome plaques that TheRomer made........ and I think it turned out GREAT!!!

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Romer once again, for an awesome job on this beautiful plaque! Thanks a million buddy!

I went with a couple of the flight feathers out to the sides, as you can see.... I thought it added a nice touch.

And here is where I decided to hang it.... right next to the fireplace!

And here is the picture of us two in the field right after DOUBLE KILLing our birds... hanging under my mount.
