You're absolutely right Mike. I put in a LOT of time, sweat, and tears last year.......... but it did finally pay off for me on Nov 30th!! It is a great feeling to to have it all come together in the end!

I picked up my '07 9 pointer yesterday from Whitetail's Haven Taxidermy.... and man I tell ya what, Steve did an EXCELLENT job on him! His detail work is unreal...... something to be desired by many other taxidermists out there!

This form had a pretty hard left turn to it, but we altered it by shaving 2" off of the back of it, on the left side..... to change the angle when hanging on the wall. It brings his face/nose back to "almost" straight center, and shows more of the bucks left shoulder as well...... giving the appearance that the buck's body/chest is pointing more to the left of ya.

When we first starting cutting on the form to alter it........... I thought....... Oh golly, I hope we ain't making a major mistake here!?! But I am flat tickled about how it turned out. Gives him a bit more unique-ness, to go along with his kicker!
