I absolutely love this event (as long as they would DO-AWAY with the double target set-ups)! Bass and Bucks do a great job hosting it, as well.

Me and my buddy Steve (TOM's brother) shot the North American course on Sat, while my wife was "poolside". But she did shoot with us Sunday, on the African course..... and did really well, I thought. She shot a 416, with no misses out of 50 targets. I was purty prowd anyways!

Anyhoo, here are just a few pictures that we (my camera, and my wife's camera) got during our R-100 shoot.

Three 12's! Although, I hope to move to digital as well sometime in the not to distant future.

Anyways, I am looking for a new (on a budget - atleast for now) lens.

I am thinking about either:

Sigma Zoom Telephoto 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro Autofocus Lens for Canon EOS
or
Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Autofocus Lens

And then maybe coupling it with a multiplier.

Just wondering if anybody has used/does use either of these, and has any thoughts/recommendations/suggestions. It's about a 40 foot cliff that drops off to the largest and deepest spring on the Suwannee River here in Florida. [quote]TrailCamMan (8/9/2007)
I just brought this over from the old forum.

If anyone is having problems posting a pic. Follow these steps and maybe it will help.

1. Save the pictures on your computer in a place where you can easily find them.

2. Go to www.photobucket.com and register an account.

3. Once you have your account, you have several different options on what size to make your picture. If you look under "Uploading Options" you will see different sizes. I use "Message Board" (640 X 480).

4. Once you have the size you need, click on "Browse" and find the image(s) that you had previously saved on your computer. You can do this by double clicking on the file name. If you want to upload multiple images, click on "Add More Images."

5. Once you have selected your image(s) click on the "Upload" option. Once you do this, you should see your image with three things under it. "Url" "Tag" and "Img" codes.

6. Go to www.MossyOak.com and start a new topic or reply to a topic. Type whatever you need to say about the picture and then copy and paste the "Img" code into the box. It is easier to do this if you have 2 screens pulled up at the same time. One for Mossy Oak and the other for Photobucket.

7. The last thing to do is hit the "Post New Topic" button at the bottom of the screen. If you are not sure you did it correct, hit the "Preview Post" button and it will give you a preview of what your post will look like.

Today's Sunset

We had our best weather day of 2008 today.... got above 60 today! I had some photos from the woods in slideshow link below. Unfortunately we did not see a thing but we had a great time. The woods pictures we were put out in an area wherethere was supposed to be a double stand but when we got out there it was a single so my son sat in the stand and I sat on the ground. Around lunch time we did some stalk hunting looking for something to shoot but I left the camera in the truck. In the evening we sat over a huge greenfield notice another shooting house on the other end. No, there was not anyone in it. The guy that maintains it likes to keep his back to the sun so he built a second shooting house. All in all it was a great day with the kid.

<a href="http://photos.msn.com/Slideshow/Viewer.htm?locale=en-us&config=%2fSlideshow%2fConfig.aspx%3flocale%3den-us%26folder%3dnBuRgwTGIGiLBkwOMHyxLD90D4XEr3ofh9WoLWsJ!oM%24&data=%2fSlideshow%2fData.aspx%3ffolder%3dnBuRgwTGIGiLBkwOMHyxLD90D4XEr3ofh9WoLWsJ!oM%24%26index%3d0" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks">http://photos.msn.com/Slideshow/Viewer.htm?locale=en-us&config=%2fSlideshow%2fConfig.aspx%3flocale%3den-us%26folder%3dnBuRgwTGIGiLBkwOMHyxLD90D4XEr3ofh9WoLWsJ!oM%24&data=%2fSlideshow%2fData.aspx%3ffolder%3dnBuRgwTGIGiLBkwOMHyxLD90D4XEr3ofh9WoLWsJ!oM%24%26index%3d0

to be a kid

Took this picture of my son last spring.
