We have one on every stand weather it is is a hang on or a ladder. Use top quality rope, not the cheap stuff. I used a 5/8 poly nylon blend, for the main line, and the prussic knot is from same 3/8 of the same kind of material. I used hog rings on all of my knots. A buddy did his own last year with the prussic knot and they work well.
