She is 17 but has been hunting with me since she was 4. She learned how to aim and shoot using a bb gun with a red dot scope. I got her a 243 for deer but her condition causes her to jump because of the noise. Once she gets scared once, then she is trigger shy after that. Last year she got her first deer with the help of a guide at Legends Ranch. The guide basically had to pull the trigger for her. So for this season I was going to get her a crossbow and I saw all those cheap crossbows on ebay, 150 & 180 lb crossbows. Does anyone have any experience with these bows? I can't afford the ones at Basspro but I think the only way she would be able to hunt this year would be with a crossbow because they won't be so loud. What do you think?
