Brother if you decide to change the grip try a Shrewd............I love mine. I can't shoot the Mathews wood grips for poop but the shrewd makes a 100% difference. See if any of your local guys have a Mathews with a Shrewd on it and try it out.

300 fps is just a goal....I love the spot hogg, the thing is SOLID!

Thanx dan, just wish I could shoot better...I'm not doing so hot...my brain is goofy!

I don't know about changing the grip...when I'm on, I'm on...when I'm not I'm WAY OFF...so maybe I need to get used to it and just get with it... ????

I really like the DLD........... Would change the grip to a shrewd first thing though. BTW- You really don't need to shoot 300 FPS.

27.25", 4" Vanes

drum roll please

294.5 feet per second!!

arrows weight 318...

at 330 we were getting 288fps
I will get her over 300fps after the IBO stuff is over and I don't need the heavy 4" vanes...

DXT is going for $749 at the shop I shoot for. LD is going for $799.

Yeah I know how that is....we used to have them at Outback when I was a cook there and I was never in one spot long enough for them to help my back.

Its the DLD not the DXT...I don't want to tell you an incorrect price, I will call Joe and ask him for sure and get back to you.

They have always helped my feet more than my back...

I don't spend that much time in Joe's shop but when I was in kitchens cooking they were a life saver...
