Just mix in along the outside of your spread your regular decoys and mix these in. I have a friend who uses a 100 or so in his spreads in Arkansas and it is amazing the results.

RE: Homemade Decoys

Mario is a great guy but lets not give him any room to grow.

Going out to see him next week.

RE: Homemade Decoys

My bad Mr. Watson , I just saw where he was recruiting pro staffers out west , I've talked Mario a couple of times via telephone about Buck Gardner .

You're not tryin to say he gets a little swelled up are you ?? lol

RE: Homemade Decoys

Mario does make some great looking decoys! All we did was to cut the outline out of plywood and then paint the body and head. They weren't the best looking things but they worked.

RE: Homemade Decoys

Shoot me an e-mail if you get stuck, but there is a ton of info on the internet about making them. Just do a search for whatever species you are trying to make....geese, puddle ducks.....or be more specific....snow geese full bodies...etc. Good luck

RE: Homemade Decoys

the guy who heads up the pro staff for Mossy Oak [ Mario ] makes a beautiful line of decoys , you can check them out at cloumbiariverdecoys.com .

He might have a few tips for you , good luck.

Homemade Decoys

Anybody on here make your own decoys?
