Did manage to kill some bluebills and ringers around here this year. Also smoked a redhead drake in Louisiana back in Dec.

RE: puddlers or divers ?

xOZx (4/1/2008)
Chasing a duck that don't eat fish is/was my fav. I will eat cans and blue bills , but that's where it stops . I do know people who will eat ring necks though.

call it what you want , I call it fun when we're waitin on new flights of mallards to show up.

here is one of my partners hunts last year , I had a guide trip that day.

RE: puddlers or divers ?

Both...I love Waterfowl Blasting.
Canvasback is some good eaten duck. Its hard to call hunting for divers even hunting. You can sit there on a bank wide open and seem to fill you bag limit with divers. Its more like shooting than anything else. Not to mention they are the hardest to breast/clean in my opinion. Puddlers all the way.

RE: puddlers or divers ?

Chasing a duck that don't eat fish is/was my fav.
