well its illegal here to poison wild animals but yeah, i know a farmer who uses ground beef and Timmic (sp) , a farm product and it does the job.. as far as myself, i'm going out tomorrow evening with a rabbit decoy and some other stuff,,, hopefully ill get a few pics..

Even though I don't like a coyote at all, I still don't want to see one suffer.

I thought the same thing too until the first time I heard the noises a doe will make when she is being eaten alive by them. Plus, I've been head on with several of them bad boys. It's been personal for a while now, I just can't always get out there and call and hunt them.

no doubt they need to go, my method is still pulling the trigger, even though I too don't get to hunt them as often as I like, now that I have some tools to hunt them at night that I'll have more time to get after them!

Recipe for killing yotes:

1. Find an outdoor enthusiast veterinarian.
2. Ask him for two tablespoons of doggie cyanide
3. Buy a 2 cans of vienna sausages and a pair of industrial rubber gloves
4. Slice 3/4" opening into vienna sausage
5. Using rubber gloves, deposit equal portions of doggie cyanide into the vienna sausages
6. Hang concoction from low hanging tree limbs
7. Return the next morning to harvest the carcasses.

For best results place a few dead chickens in the area as an attractant 24 hours prior.

Coyote Killing Methods

I know my favorite way to kill these flesh suckers is with a big bore rifle but I just thought it would be a good thread to post other creative ways y'all have found to deal with these turds.

Two (rather) new methods I've heard of recently that I want to try are:

1. Tie/crimp a big treble hook onto some 60# + wire. Hook the wire to a sturdy tree branch. For bait, you can gut a turkey, hog, or whatever animal and leave the guts on top of the treble hook, or simply bait up a small chicken or something. Apparently this has been effective.

2. Buy a bunch of foam rubber and soak it in bacon or some other type of grease. The yotes will eat the foam and not be able to digest it and kick over.

So post up your ideas....and lets send some yotes back to their maker.
